PE Float with Location Slot
The PE float with location slot is a high-strength flotation product specially designed for marine engineering and dredging pipelines. The outer shell is made of polyethylene, and the inside is filled with high-density closed-cell polyurethane (PU) foam, providing excellent impact resistance and stable buoyancy. Its unique location slot structure allows the float to fit securely onto the pipeline, keeping the equipment stable on the water surface or underwater and preventing displacement or sliding.

2. Physical Performance Testing

Density and buoyancy: Material density (typically 0.94–0.96 g/cm³), buoyancy per unit volume, and buoyancy attenuation rate after long-term immersion (generally ≤ 5%).

Water absorption: Mass variation rate after 24h/72h immersion (typically ≤ 0.5%).
- Dimensional stability: Dimensional change rate after high and low temperature cycling to prevent failure caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
