The suction rubber hose is a versatile and durable hose mainly used on the drag arm of a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) or the cutter ladder of a cutter suction dredger (CSD). It is made from high-quality rubber materials, featuring excellent resistance to abrasion, chemical corrosion, and weathering—making it ideal for operation in harsh environments.
The suction hose is reinforced with a spiral steel wire structure or a multi-layer reinforcement design, providing exceptional strength and preventing collapse under vacuum conditions. Its robust construction ensures a long service life and excellent resistance to wear, chemicals, and extreme temperatures.
